Name This Film! Please?

Any ideas? At first I thought that might be Burt Lancaster in the first two images, but I can't pin down a film, and I'm probably wrong anyway. The first person to correctly identify the film gets...well...nothing really...except my gratitude...which should be more than enough. I mean, come on.

Oh yeah, and The Last Detail is the great, unsung masterpiece of the American Film Renaissance. But you already knew that.
